My story

My Art

I paint to remember. To feel. To hold onto fleeting moments and give them shape—through water, pigment, and intuition.

My work lives in the space between folklore and futurism, rooted in the vibrant duality of life in Kuwait. The ancient stories, the neon skies, the pulse of the city, and the hush of the sea—they all find their way into my brush. I am endlessly drawn to the blues of the water outside my window and the warm, shifting tones of sand beneath it.

Whether I’m working with watercolor, acrylic, or digital tools, my art is a conversation—a way to translate emotion into color, to document the chaos and quiet of the human experience. Under the mentorship of several remarkable artists, I’ve learned to blend technical skill with raw intuition, and I’m still learning, still listening.

I want people to see themselves in my work—not perfectly, but honestly. Bold, messy, vibrant, and deeply human.

When Life Asked Me to Paintge

Before I was an artist, I was an academic.
I spent years teaching, researching, and living in the world of ideas. But when my late father was diagnosed with cancer, everything changed.
I left that world to have the time flexibility be with him, At the same year my only daughter was starting grade one at school shifting from English school to Arabic school and needed all my attention to ease this shift on here. in the stillness and stress I found myself playing with color to stay calm, to stay present, to stay… me.

Art became my way back to myself.
And after my late father passed away —taking with him dreams he never got to finish—art became more than a comfort.
It became a calling.

But turning that calling into a career?
Whew.
It was thrilling. And confusing. And… way harder to navigate than it needed to be.
There was no clear path, no cozy guidebook, there was no roadmap, no friendly guide, no “Art Career for Dummies” (I checked) for artists trying to make it professionally.
I struggled. I Googled. I even rage-quit a few times (don’t judge).

So I built what I wish I had.
Armed with a PhD, a passion for teaching, and a life coaching certification (yes, I collect diplomas like some people collect rare teas), and a heart shaped by loss and love, I turned the mess into a message. I’m here to help you build the artistic life you deserve. Because if no one hands you the map… maybe it’s your job to draw one.
And I brought extra pens and brushes.

When I Realized It Wasnt Just About Me Any More

This site is Part portfolio, part clubhouse, part no-fluff guide to help you turn your raw talent into a career that actually fits you.

It’s a space where artists can feel seen, supported, and slightly less like they’re screaming into the void.
Armed with a PhD, a life coaching badge, and enough wild creative detours to fill a journal, I built this for the ones who don’t just want to make art—they want to build a life around it.
This isn’t just a site. It’s a rebellion in pixels.
I’m here to help you find your voice (and actually like what it says), build a portfolio that makes people stop scrolling, pitch to brands without losing your mind, understand licensing like a boss, and treat your art like the business it deserves to be.
But let me be clear—this isn’t a how-to-paint kind of place. If you’re still figuring out what brushes to use or how to draw a face, head over to hudacolors.com—I’ve got you covered there.
Here, I’m assuming you’ve been painting for at least six months, have a few pieces under your belt, and you’re starting to hear that little riot inside telling you, “This could be more.”
This space is for answering that call.
It’s loud, warm, unfiltered—and built from the messy, magical trenches I know all too well.

How can i help you?
