There are days when I feel like I’ve poured my soul into every corner of this creative journey,my paintings, my designs, my blog, my online presence. And still, I catch myself wishing for just one small spark of extrinsic motivation. A sale. A message. A kind word from someone who stumbled upon my work and felt something.
It’s not that I depend on others’ approval most of my drive comes from within. But sometimes, even the most self-motivated artist needs a little push from the outside world. Something to say: Yes, your art matters. It’s reaching someone..
Right now, I’m standing in that quiet space between showing up and being seen. My catalog has been sent out. I’ve joined design challenges. I post regularly and with intention. I’ve shared vulnerable pieces of my story. I’ve worked genuinely and consistently.
And while the results aren’t loud yet, I trust something is building. It takes time. I remind myself that most breakthroughs come quietly, after a long stretch of invisible effort.
If you’re also waiting for a sign, this is it. Keep going. Keep creating. Even if no one claps yet. Even if the world feels silent. Because when the first spark arrives, it will light up everything.
From my studio to your world
With care, Huda
